Job Schedule & Training Part Time – 38 hours a fortnight (Week 1 – Wednesday and Thursday, Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) 6 weeks of paid training (4 days a week, Monday – Friday). You’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe and uninterrupted linen supply that supports high‑quality patient care across the hospital. Responsibilities Delivering and collecting clean and soiled linen across hospital wards and units Monitoring stock levels and responding to linen requests efficiently Reporting stock volumes, usage trends, and linen quality Maintaining safe segregation and collection of used linen for contractors Supporting linen audits, quality improvement, and emergency stock readiness Building positive relationships with hospital staff and contractors Qualifications and Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively Experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting (desirable) Understanding of infection control and OH&S practices Ability to build respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders Up-to‑date vaccinations and a clear National Police Check Eligibility Statement We seek and celebrate diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds and cultures including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQI+, veterans and people with disability.
