Cadastral Surveyor

Wellcamp Business Park is seeking a Cadastral Surveyor to play a key role in delivering major civil and development projects across the precinct and surrounding areas. This is a hands‑on and technically challenging role where you’ll lead survey operations, provide technical guidance to the team, and contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of the Business Park. Located in Wellcamp (Toowoomba Region), this full‑time position offers stability, variety and a great work‑life balance. Key tasks and responsibilities Lead and coordinate surveying activities across a range of infrastructure and development projects Provide accurate engineering survey data for design, construction and QA/QC processes Manage survey set‑out, verification, and reporting Perform and oversee drone operations for survey, stock take, maintenance and aerial applications Support the Project Engineer and Civil Construction team to deliver works safely, on‑time and within budget Maintain, calibrate, and manage machine guidance systems across heavy earthmoving equipment Ensure compliance with survey standards, best practice data storage and file management protocols Provide mentoring and technical support to surveyors and operators About You Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science or related discipline Registered cadastral surveyor, Queensland Surveyors Board Proven experience in civil construction or development surveying (senior or lead role) Proficiency in Leica / Trimble instruments and 12d / Field / CAD and related software Experience with Trimble / Topcon systems and machine guidance setup UAV / RePL / ReOC Licence (up to 150g) and experience with OK2Fly or Opensky apps (advantageous) ChemCert / AROC / LiDAR, scanning or aerial spraying experience (advantageous) Current driver’s license Construction White Card Demonstrated numerical accuracy and analytical skills Strong communication and team leadership capabilities Opportunity to work on large‑scale, high‑profile development projects Monday‑Friday role, home every night Supportive and innovative work environment Competitive salary commensurate with experience About Us Wellcamp Business Park is a self‑sustaining commercial hub supporting industries such as aviation, transport, manufacturing, and construction.
