About the Role This is a rare chance to start your geology career underground, where the work is real, and the learning curve is steep, in the best possible way. Reporting to the Senior Underground Geologist, you’ll be part of a team that values practical thinking, clear communication, and collaboration above all. You’ll be involved in geological mapping, stope and ROM inspections, and daily grade control activities that directly influence ore recovery. You’ll also contribute to QAQC processes and work closely with mining and drilling teams to optimise outcomes. You’ve studied geology or geoscience, and you’re ready to apply that knowledge in a role where practical problem‑solving, strong communication, and teamwork are front and centre. You’ve got a tertiary qualification, and ideally a manual C‑class driver’s licence. Deswik experience is a bonus, but what really matters is your attitude and your drive to learn.
