Job details Location: 61 Dover Street, Chatham, ON N7L 1S7 Salary: 3,000 to 5,000 bi‑weekly (to be negotiated) / 60 to 80 hours bi‑weekly Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Health care institution, facility or clinic Physician's office Private practice Responsibilities Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team Coordinate patient care Evaluate patient care and progress Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care Interpret medical test results Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests Perform diagnostic tests Plan patient care Provide end‑life counselling and bereavement support to patients and their families Advise patients on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs Advise patients on health care Examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health Order laboratory tests, X‑rays and other diagnostic procedures Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories Provide health maintenance education Credentials Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate CPR Certificate Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work Additional information Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Combination of sitting, standing, walking Fast‑paced environment Work under pressure Personal suitability Accurate Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Other benefits Free parking available Learning/training paid by employer On‑site amenities On‑site housing options Parking available Who can apply for this job?
