Campus Location North Sydney, Australia | Strathfield, Australia About The Role Operating within the National School of Theology, the Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Religious Education will provide academic expertise in the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, research, and administration. The role includes teaching, curriculum development, program coordination, and external partnership engagement. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, innovative teaching and learning through the delivery and / or development of lectures, tutorials and other classes at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels. Provide excellence and innovation in curriculum, content design and enhancement of inclusive and effective learning environments, including practical support for students. Pursue a quality research agenda in religious education, through publication and grant applications. Demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour consistent with the University's Mission and Values, Code of Conduct and commitment to performance excellence and continuous improvement. Show understanding of the University's Catholic Identity and Mission, contributing Christian principles of social justice, truth and care for the common good to all academic activity. Total remuneration valued to $142,635 – $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 – $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Lecturer – Academic Level B). Employer superannuation and annual leave loading at 17%. Total remuneration valued to $178,482 – $193,772 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $151,018 – $164,087 (pro rata) pa (Senior Lecturer – Academic Level C). Employer contributions and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
