To help us deliver innovative and successful solutions for our clients, we are seeking Electrical Design Managers to join us in Sydney. You will build on your experience in industrial or water / wastewater electrical and automation design. Lead multi-discipline design teams and be accountable for the delivery of high-quality design delivery outputs Work collaboratively with the teams to manage the overall delivery of designs to time, budget and quality and guide project delivery to achieve high levels of client satisfaction Manage Engineering governance processes (design reviews, change management, request for information, validation and verification, etc., related to the design) Stepping into a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and continuous improvement you will be given opportunities for mentoring junior engineers and professional growth and development. About You You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer and have a bachelor’s engineering degree in electrical engineering and gained a strong understanding of the Australian water industry, with a focus on water utilities/water treatment, industry standards and best practices on site and within a professional services environment. You will have relevant experience and a good understanding of Australian and international standards including AS / NZS 3000, AS / NZS 3010. You will have a good understanding of electrical, automation and instrumentation systems. You will preferably have a good understanding of Medium and High Voltage systems applicable to water, wastewater, and industrial utilities. Strong technical writing skills are imperative, as is the ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of stakeholders. Highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills you’ll have the desire and ability to lead and mentor a team and drive successful project outcomes for our clients.
