The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our factory floor team. This is a hands-on role where you will be a key player in our food production process, from preparing raw materials to final packaging. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Key Responsibilities Production Line Operations: Work on the production line, assisting with food preparation, processing, and assembly. This may include operating various machines such as blenders, mixers, and packing equipment. Blending and Mixing: As a Blender Machine Operator, you may be responsible for accurately measuring, weighing, and blending raw ingredients according to specific recipes. Packing and Packaging: Efficiently pack finished products into containers, boxes, or other formats. This includes sealing, labeling, and palletizing products for shipment. Quality Control: Conduct routine quality checks on products throughout the production process to ensure they meet our strict quality and food safety standards. Report any non-conformances to the Team Leader. Material Handling: Move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the factory using a forklift or pallet jack (if licensed). Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all company policies, including food safety protocols (HACCP), and follow strict hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure a smooth, continuous workflow. Troubleshooting: Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or process issues to the Team Leader in a timely manner. Required Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in a food manufacturing or fast-paced production environment is highly desirable. Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. A valid forklift license is preferred but not essential. Understanding of food safety principles (e.g., HACCP) is an advantage. Flexibility to work various shifts (e.g., early mornings, afternoons) as required. Why Join Us?
