About the opportunity Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR Truck Driver (unrestricted) at our StarTrack Mackay based facility, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day‑in, day‑out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that This full time perm opportunity works Mon‑Fri with overtime paid at OT rates, weekly pay of $33.81/hour + 12% super + $50/week district allowance. A small friendly and inclusive facility, Mackay offers a close knit team environment with weekly pay, onsite parking, uniform provided, regular events and bbqs, PostPerks and so much more You’ll be Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility. Completing your own daily vehicle safety check. Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick‑ups. Returning to our operational centres to unload pick‑ups. About you You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. You’ll also need to Hold an unrestricted MR license. Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck up to 30kg. Be safety‑focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility. Have a customer‑centric mindset and effective communication skills. Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less. Be prepared to undergo a driving assessment and a pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
