Construction Administrator – Permanent Part-Time

Hours: Approx. 9:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday - this includes school holidays, with flexibility for the successful candidate. Start Date: Job to be secured before Christmas - official start flexible up to 27th January 2026 (term 1 QLD school start) – flexibility for earlier commencement if preferred, and able. The Role We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our Coomera-based team on a permanent part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone looking to balance rewarding, meaningful work with predominantly school hours – making it an excellent opportunity for a parent wanting a stable, yet flexible position. As we continue to grow, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of our administrative processes and play a key part in developing more efficient systems and workflows. You won’t just complete admin – you’ll help shape it Key Responsibilities Preparing and maintaining job packs, project files, and documentation Assisting with HSEQ compliance, record keeping, registers and audits Supporting the Project Team with paperwork, project tracking, and reporting Managing time cards and assisting with payroll input or verification Coordinating vehicle servicing, equipment registers, and maintenance bookings Handling accommodation bookings and travel arrangements for teams working away Performing general office duties, office administration, data entry, filing, and correspondence Conducting stocktakes and helping track consumables and supplies Updating project management systems and ensuring accurate record keeping Assisting with supplier coordination, delivery dockets, and purchase order management Supporting safety documentation – inductions, training records, incident reporting, etc. Updating and maintaining employee training requirements and requests Additional Opportunities Streamlining and improving administrative systems and templates Assisting with tender documentation or subcontractor prequalification Helping coordinate internal training or toolbox talks Supporting project close-out and archiving processes About You You’ll thrive in this role if you’re highly organised, proactive, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly. Ideally, you have: At least 2 years experience in construction administration or a similar role (civil construction very highly regarded) Strong computer literacy (MS Office, project management or HSEQ systems) Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail and time management A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed The ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team Why Join Us?
