Staff Specialist – Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Surgery – Concord Repatriation General Hospital NSW Health invites applications for a permanent part‑time Staff Specialist to support the Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Surgery Department at Concord Repatriation General Hospital (CRGH). The role involves high‑quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services, teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the department and hospital. Responsibilities Provide specialist diagnostic and surgical care for upper gastrointestinal tract conditions. Participate in teaching, research and quality improvement activities. Contribute to departmental and hospital administrative activities as required. Maintain a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic environment. Qualifications Medical practitioner registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with recognised qualifications in Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Surgery or equivalent specialist recognition as specified in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. Current fellowship may be considered for applicants expected to be awarded within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026.
