Overview Join a values-focused Federal Government Agency as a Senior Video Producer (APS6 level) and take the lead in shaping how they communicate the vital services they provide to Australians with disabilities. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Digital Media team, creating compelling video content that resonates across diverse platforms while enhancing the lives of more than 600,000 participants. Your leadership and creativity will not only drive high-quality digital productions but also contribute meaningfully to the agency’s mission of promoting social and economic participation for people with disabilities. This is your chance to make a difference Required Skills Proven leadership experience in delivering complex video projects within a government or large organisational setting, particularly with a focus on social media content. High-level technical proficiency in video production work flows and software, with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder). Exceptional communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and provide strategic advice to senior staff. Nice to Have Skills Experience with animation and graphic design for video content. Proficiency in photography, particularly in studio settings. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in video production for diverse audiences, including those with disabilities. Preferred Education and Experience Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in digital media, communications, or video production. Prior experience working within the disability sector or on projects that aim to create accessible content. Other Requirements Ability to manage and lead a small team, ensuring high-quality outputs across concurrent projects. Willingness to undergo entry-level checks and any necessary working with children or vulnerable people checks as mandated by State Legislation.
