Responsibilities Collect blood, urine, swabs, and other pathology samples from patients. Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labelling. Prepare and store specimens according to protocols. Complete paperwork and data entry with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the collection area. Provide clear instructions and support to patients. Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures. Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks. Skills and Experience Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection, or relevant industry experience. Excellent customer service skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone. Strong time management and organisational abilities. Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of specimen collection procedures. Effective communication skills with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and flexibly across weekday and weekend shifts. Basic computer literacy and data entry skills. Current and valid Driver’s Licence. Full working rights in Australia.
