As a Workshop Controller, you will be a natural people leader with the ability to mentor and share knowledge to ensure our service department runs effectively. The role entails : Manage daily tasks, productivity and efficiency for a team of technicians Prioritise Repair Orders in the workshop to ensure on time completion Assist with Technical problem solving Suggest additional work that is needed to the Service Adviser Team so the customer can be notified Make certain that work repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures and ask for clarification if there are questions Maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment; follow safety practices; notify management if tools need replacement or new tools required Maintain adequate personal hand tools to enable all repairs to be carried out with minimum movement from vehicle Maintain cleanliness of the working area and customer vehicles Assist in expediting of parts orders and notify service advisor if delays are expected or if a part needs to be ordered Give special attention to repeat repairs, so the problem is correct this time and future comebacks are avoided Compliance with the procedures and policies What we are looking for : Relevant vehicle trade qualifications Previous workshop controller experience preferred Current NSW driver's licence Air-Conditioning Licence preferred however not essential ASCIS & AUVIS Licence preferred however not essential Ability to follow work, health and safety policies and procedures Demonstrate care and attention to detail Good communication skills and have a positive can-do attitude Can work well within large teams and follow processes and instructions Benefits : Commitment to development and mentoring from your team Embrace development and mentoring from your team, fostering personal and professional growth Access discounted rates on Bupa Private Health Insurance, prioritizing your well-being Exclusive discounts on vehicles, parts and servicing Benefit from our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing support and resources during challenging times Lifestyle discounts, including Gym memberships and retail discounts Paid parental leave to support you and your family About us : Join Frizelle Sunshine Automotive, a proud Australian-owned business and part of the Peter Warren Automotive Holdings family.
