Senior Product Security Engineer – Domain (CoStar Group) Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia. Hybrid work model: office Tuesday–Thursday, work‑from‑home Monday & Friday. Responsibilities Champion security integration across DevOps processes and promote a culture of ownership. Partner with software, product and DevOps teams to embed secure design into the software development life cycle. Lead threat modeling, solution design reviews and conduct hands‑on code reviews. Automate security testing in CI/CD pipelines and manage security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, credential scanning, IaC scanning). Collaborate with Governance, Risk & Compliance to ensure compliance with industry standards and support security incident response. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field. 5+ years in Product/Application Security or DevSecOps. Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and security best practices. Excellent communication with engineering and leadership teams. Proficiency in scripting and automation (Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell). Experience with container security (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on implementation of security tools in CI/CD pipelines and IDE integrations (SAST, SCA). Web application penetration testing experience. Self‑starter who can advance the application security program to completion. Experience coordinating security by design with application teams. Knowledge of infrastructure operations across databases, network and system administration. Experience testing modern applications in cloud‑native tech stacks. Benefits Hybrid working model.
