About the Role We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based support. We’re looking for someone committed to professional growth and long-term connection with our team and community. In this role, you’ll develop comprehensive behaviour support plans using a holistic, integrative lens and walk alongside families and support networks to provide ongoing guidance. Key Responsibilities Assess client needs and develop neurodiversity-affirming behaviour support plans. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and alongside families, schools, and other key stakeholders. Support individuals and families to implement strategies that enhance coping, emotional wellbeing, and quality of life. Manage a caseload and maintain timely, accurate documentation. Continually evaluate and adapt supports in response to changing client needs. Engage with regular supervision and professional development. Essential Criteria Minimum 1 year experience as a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, with current NDIS registration at Proficient level or above. Strong written and verbal communication, along with effective consultation and negotiation skills. Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field. Demonstrated experience delivering training and supporting individuals, families, and support staff. Clear understanding and application of a neurodiversity-affirming practice framework. Current Australian Driver’s License. Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid unrestricted work visa. Current Working With Children Check, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
