Overview The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing mechanical systems, conceptualizing and prototyping new products, designing and validating integrated mechanical‑electronic systems, and developing advanced automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Research, design and develop intelligent systems, machinery and mechatronic components, devices, and equipment. Create automated systems and the software to control them. Design prototypes for intelligent systems and mechatronic products. Develop design documents for mechanical parts and final products. Conduct computer modelling and simulations to assess mechatronic product performance. Analyse mechatronics prototype test results and provide solutions for improvement. Design, build and implement mechatronic product modifications to improve safety, functionality and reliability. Conduct research, document findings and present reports at meetings. Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and make recommendations for improvement. Requirements Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related engineering field. Relevant work experience. Strong foundation in control systems, automation, and embedded software. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and optimise systems. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills. Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Documentation and organisation skills. Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study and process balancing. Commitment to high health, safety, and environmental workplace standards.
