Are you an experienced Information Systems Manager ready to take your next step in a hands‑on leadership role? Based in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs , this is an excellent opportunity to join a pivotal position within a respected international organisation where you will lead a small, capable IT team and help shape the company's technology landscape at a local level. About the Role As the Information Systems Manager , you will oversee the day‑to‑day reliability, security, and performance of the company's IT environment. Collaborating with global IT teams to align with strategic direction, you will lead and develop the local IS team to ensure systems meet international standards and the Australian operation runs efficiently, securely, and effectively. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a small information systems team, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative culture Manage and maintain the company's core information systems, ensuring availability, stability, and business continuity Implement IT service management processes and drive ongoing improvements in performance and efficiency Embed strong security practices across applications, infrastructure, and networks Collaborate with overseas IT teams to align local operations with global direction and standards Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets to ensure cost‑effective delivery of services Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance productivity and support business growth About You We are looking for a hands‑on leader who is just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as they are setting direction. You will have a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of how to balance business needs, budgets, and technology.
