Are you an experienced risk professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join a collaborative and purpose-driven risk team at an industry super fund. In this key role, you’ll contribute to the effective operation of our Risk Management Framework and play an active part in enhancing our organisational risk culture. Reporting to the Head of Risk, you’ll provide expert advice on operational risks, support regulatory compliance efforts, and deliver risk insights to senior leaders and governance forums. You’ll also partner with business stakeholders to embed risk thinking into day-to-day decisions and help us stay ahead of emerging risks in an evolving regulatory environment. How You’ll Make an Impact Maintain and enhance the Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring it supports strong governance and risk oversight across all business units. Identify, assess, and monitor key risks, working with stakeholders to develop appropriate mitigation strategies and controls. Manage the ongoing integrity and use of the GRC system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key risk indicators. Provide clear, data-driven risk reporting and insights to senior management, the Executive, and Board committees. Support fraud and AML monitoring activities, including transaction reviews and escalation of unusual member activity. Lead and contribute to risk assessments for new initiatives, projects, and third-party engagements. Promote a proactive and transparent risk culture by engaging with teams across the organisation and providing training and education where needed. Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the business is well prepared for compliance with evolving obligations. About You 2‑4 years of experience in risk management or compliance within superannuation or financial services. Strong working knowledge of risk frameworks, regulatory requirements (e.g. SIS Act, APRA standards), and GRC tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you can explain risk concepts clearly and influence outcomes across business levels. Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of issues. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach. Why Join This Company?
