CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract Location: South Yarra, Victoria, Australia Salary: A$110,000.00 – A$140,000.00 Employment type: Full‑time 6‑month fixed‑term contract, potential extension. The Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) is the leading national group that specialises in establishing investigator‑initiated clinical trials for patients with haematological (blood) cancer. As a member‑based organisation we do business with people and care about our relationships. Our doctor members develop new trials influenced by patient needs, the latest evidence, and emerging research results. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, activate, and manage allocated ALLG multisite platform trials. Engage with national and international peers to ensure diversity in clinical trials. Support the team in advancing access to better treatments for those with blood cancer. Qualifications & Experience Significant, highly competent clinical trial management experience with strong forward‑planning ability. Demonstrated understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory, ethical, privacy, and other relevant guidelines. Tertiary qualification in a health or science field. Understanding of medical terminology, ideally oncology or haematology. Experience preparing and coordinating documentation required to acquire and maintain HREC and RGO approvals for multi‑site clinical trials. Experience developing and maintaining resources and tools to support assigned clinical trials. Personal confidence and demonstrated ability to liaise with professionals from a variety of backgrounds. High attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to establish and work within timelines. Ability to interpret and manage complex clinical data, including data cleaning. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team. Experience in multi‑site/platform clinical trials. Experience in site activations. Experience with eDC systems and data cleaning. Experience with SOP preparation and application of SOPs in daily trial conduct. Ability to review processes and suggest improvements to enhance existing methods.
