We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Media Arts Teacher (0.8–1.0 FTE) to join our Secondary School team in 2026. The successful candidate will bring passion and expertise in Media Arts for Years 7–10, with the ability to teach Year 11 and 12 Media Production and Analysis (General and ATAR). You will design and deliver engaging curriculum, foster a collaborative learning environment, and support students’ academic and personal development. This is not just a role, it’s a sacred opportunity to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and character in young people. You will teach with purpose and conviction, sowing seeds of faith and learning that will shape lives for eternity. Key Responsibilities Include: Teach high‑quality and engaging Media Arts courses (Years 7–12) aligned with the WA Curriculum and a Christian worldview. Create a positive, well‑managed learning environment and use varied teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs. Assess, monitor, and record student progress using formative and summative strategies, providing timely and evidence‑based feedback. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the Pastoral Care team to support students’ academic, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Use technology competently in teaching and model positive digital practices. Contribute actively to the life of the College, including events and extracurricular activities. Selection Criteria: Essential Demonstrate a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be an active member of a Christian Church. Accept and align with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements of belief, and educational objectives. Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA). Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and the ability to teach it in an engaging and effective manner. Experience in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to uphold and contribute to the Christian life of the College. Current Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) registration and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willing to apply. Desirable Ability to teach Year 11 and 12 Media Production and Analysis (ATAR and General courses). Previous experience teaching Media Arts in a Secondary context.
