Work Days of the Role Tuesday, Thursday, Planning Time Flexible Hours of Work of the Role Tuesday 8:30am - 4:00pm, Thursday 8:30am - 4:00pm, 3.75hr Non Contact Hours, Planning Time Flexible Expression of Interest – Co-Educator (4 Year Old Kindergarten Program) Ascot Kindergarten – Commencing January 2026 12-month position with view to ongoing employment in 2027 Ascot Kindergarten Committee of Management is inviting Expressions of Interest for the position of Co-Educator within our 4 year old kindergarten program. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who holds a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. About the Role The 4 year old program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays , with program hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm . The Co-Educator will work closely with the Early Childhood Teacher and up to 2 Co Educator's to deliver a high-quality, play-based learning program aligned with our kindergarten’s philosophy and values. Hours: 15 hours contact time per week 3.75 hours non-contact time Planning time is flexible and arranged in consultation with the teaching team Key Responsibilities Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a high-quality educational program. Collaborate positively and professionally with the teaching team. Build warm, respectful relationships with children and familiesli> Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Assist in documentation, routine tasks, supervision, and group experiences. Follow all kindergarten policies and procedures and uphold the National Quality Framework. About You We are seeking an educator who: Holds a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved). Demonstrates strong communication skills and a professional, collaborative approach. Shows initiative, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development. Has knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, National Quality Standard, and regulatory requirements (or a willingness to continue building this knowledge). Knowledge and prior use of Storypark is not required but would be beneficial. Qualifications A relevant Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) or Early Childhood (Diploma) Educator qualification. Solid knowledge of the Child Safe Standards of Victoria. Current WWC, first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma training qualifications.
