Who are we looking for? An experienced Site Engineer to join our client's construction team based in Melbourne. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the completion of day‑to‑day activities ensuring that projects are executed safely, in line with design specifications. You’ll collaborate with subcontractors, coordinate resources, and proactively resolve on‑site challenges as they arise. Job Responsibilities Support Project Managers in delivering civil construction solutions across residential and commercial land development projects Ensure project compliance Undertake project planning, scheduling, and programming activities Build and maintain strong client relationships Monitor construction crew and subcontractor performance against project estimates Identify, report, and mitigate project performance issues Track and report production costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Coordinate procurement of plant, equipment, and materials Prepare and issue PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs What you'll bring to the role Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Proven experience in civil construction Minimum of 2yrs Australian experience in a Civil Site Engineer role A sound understanding of project management principles Strong written and verbal communication skills A current White Card Full working rights in Australia A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access As part of the team, you'll enjoy Ongoing access to learning and development programs, tools, and resources Mentorship from a diverse network of civil engineering subject matter experts Hands‑on experience across a variety of private and government projects The chance to work alongside experienced engineers and civil supervisors A clearly mapped project management career pathway with endless possibilities ahead #J-18808-Ljbffr
