Your opportunity As the Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of building works for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital project. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the planning and execution of daily site activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s scope, schedule, and safety requirements. Providing the construction team with technical advice, including the interpretation of drawings, specifications, and design details. Monitoring and tracking project progress, maintaining accurate site records, and contributing to weekly progress reports and cost control. Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards. Promoting and enforcing safety, environmental, and quality procedures in all on‑site activities, in line with both project and regulatory requirements. Our minimum requirements for this role are: A bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Previous site‑based experience on major building projects. Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is highly desirable, with an understanding of the complexity, safety protocols, and sensitivity required in healthcare environments. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project documentation. The Project The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment project involves the design and construction of new state‑of‑the‑art hospital facilities to meet the growing healthcare needs of Western Sydney. The project includes a new hospital tower, expanded emergency services, and enhanced clinical spaces.
