Join our Home Health Aged Care team as a Home Care Support Worker, supporting older Australians (65+)—including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and non-Identified customers—to live safely and independently at home. Do you meet these minimum requirements? Live in or near Inverell including surrounding suburbs Ashford, Auburn Vale, Brodies Plain, Bundarra, Delungra, Gilgai, Long Plain, Rob Roy, Stanborough or Tingha. Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared / rental vehicles) Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers) Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported) Travel is required for training. Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility / nursing home If you're saying 'YES' to these, we'd love to have you join us What this role offers Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts Permanent Contract hours : 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up hours. Hourly Rate : $31.13 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92 / km allowance + paid travel time What You’ll Be Doing Entry-Level Carers : Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation. Experienced Carers : Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers.
