Medical School One Full‑time permanent position Lecturer / Senior Lecturer, Medical Education (Assessment of Knowledge) and one Part‑time (50%) fixed term through to 19 October. Base Salary and Location Base salary will be in the range $114,824 - $161,518 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level B / C). Based at our Herston Campus. The University of Queensland is seeking two passionate educators to contribute to an innovative, student‑centred medical programme grounded in academic excellence, integrity and real‑world impact. Senior Lecturer, Medical Education (Assessment of Professionalism & Leadership) In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development and enhancement of assessment for Professionalism and Leadership across all four years of the MD programme. You will guide students and academic colleagues in understanding assessment requirements. Coordinate high‑quality assessment item development. Support assessor capability and ensure fairness, consistency and best‑practice standards. Provide vital data and insights that contribute to student progression and continuous quality improvement. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer, Medical Education (Assessment of Knowledge) As a key member of the assessment leadership team, you will oversee the assessment of knowledge throughout the MD curriculum. Design and refine assessment tasks. Partner with staff and students to build assessment literacy. Coordinate item writing and support assessor training. Ensure assessment processes remain equitable, valid and reliable. Employment Details Lecturer or Senior Lecturer Medical Education (Assessment of Knowledge) is a full‑time continuing position at Academic Level B / C. Senior Lecturer Medical Education (Assessment of Professionalism and Leadership) is a part‑time (50%) 5‑year fixed‑term position through to 19 October.
