Family Support Worker – The Early Years Place Overview Have you experienced the difference of working in a community-based not for‑profit organisation? The Gowrie (QLD) is a leader in Early Childhood Education and Care, sponsoring a diverse range of early childhood education and care and community services. The Caboolture Early Years Place (EYP) is an integrated universal service accessible for children (birth‑8 years), their families and expecting parents residing in Caboolture and surrounding areas. To maximise access and engagement, the EYP offers a range of service delivery models including onsite programmes, targeted home visiting and outreach at satellite sites and community locations across the region. Responsibilities The Family Support Workers enjoy a varied role that can include working in partnership with our early childhood educators and child health staff to deliver holistic and integrated family intervention, also involvement with facilitated playgroups and parent education programmes. The role has a January 2026 start and is on a casual basis with hours available on Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's each week during school term time (school holidays off). The position commences immediately. Qualifications Bachelor of Human Services in Child and Families Studies or similar Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about working with children and families Believe strongly in early intervention Have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong skills in using Microsoft Office suite Excellent organising and planning skills, and ability to multi‑task in a busy work environment Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) Current first aid and CPR certificates Benefits Attractive salary Family‑friendly work environment Access to a range of professional development opportunities Contact Please contact @ladygowrie.com.au or telephone 2667 for further information.
