We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia’s premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 300 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator to join our esteemed People & Culture team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and contribute as a key member of the People & Culture team. Your support will extend across various functions, including HR, Payroll and the Retail Operations team. As the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator , your primary responsibility will be to ensure an outstanding employee experience. This includes managing end-to-end onboarding, issuing employment contracts, and providing system and process support to new starters. You will also assist with recruitment activities such as initial screening calls, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading the onboarding process to ensure all administrative requirements are completed accurately and comply with legal obligations Managing pre‑employment checks such as health declarations, visas and right‑to‑work verification Assisting in the recruitment process, including conducting screening calls, coordinating interviews, and completing reference checks for retail management and casual roles Issuing employment contracts, policies and all relevant onboarding documentation Responding to new starter queries and providing system support throughout the onboarding process Supporting internal stakeholders across HR, Payroll and Retail Operations with onboarding and recruitment‑related enquiries About you: 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role, or a recent HR graduate / current HR student eager to gain hands‑on experience Working knowledge of TA and/or HR practices, employment conditions and basic award interpretation Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time‑management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism This is a full‑time, 5‑days‑in‑the‑office role based on St Kilda Road , offering the opportunity to join a fast‑paced, highly dynamic P&C Team and play a key role in supporting the growth of Global Retail Brands.
