Catering Assistant Uniting Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia Uniting Thomas Roseby Lodge are looking for a Catering Assistant / Kitchenhand for Wednesdays and every second Friday and Thursday as holiday relief. The shift time is 7am - 2.30pm. Great opportunities for an experienced hospitality worker. Permanent part-time. Please see enclosed shift times and days. Marrickville facility. What You’ll Be Doing In This Role Provide catering services to residents in a timely manner. Communicate with residents on their requirements and needs. Promote the rights and privacy of our clients. Work with continuous improvement of our service to ensure it’s the best it can be. What Do We Need You To Bring Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there. Great communication and customer service skills. Great understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management. Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness, and ability to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
