Office Manager with Purchasing, Trailer Manufacturer About the role This is a full-time role as an Office Manager with Purchasing at Gorski Engineering, a leading trailer manufacturer based in Stapylton, Queensland. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies to support the production of high-quality trailers. What you'll be doing Manage all administrative and office support functions, including overseeing reception, data entry, and other clerical duties Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies to support the manufacturing operations Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, secure timely deliveries, and maintain positive relationships Implement and maintain office systems, procedures, and policies to optimise efficiency and productivity Support workshop team every day by answering questions, resolving queries, and ensuring they have the right materials, information, and support Onboard new employees (experience in Payroll or HR preferred but not essential) Liaise with head office in Melbourne where all orders are generated What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar office management or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders Proficient in the use of office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office suite Experience in procurement and supplier management, with a good understanding of purchasing processes and procedures A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a keen attention to detail What we offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Opportunities for professional development and career advancement A collaborative, team-oriented culture that values innovation and continuous improvement About us Gorski Engineering is a leading manufacturer of high-quality trailers for the construction, transport, and agricultural industries.
