BluePrint Nursing is seeking a Clinical Nurse specialising in mental health to support our Community Mental Health Services. About the Role In this pivotal role, you will : The mental health team provides clinical case management and other therapies for adults aged between 18 and 65 years, experiencing significant and long‑term mental illness. Deliver evidence-based clinical care and therapeutic interventions in community settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement recovery‑oriented care plans. Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to junior staff. Advocate for clients and promote access to appropriate mental health supports. What You Will Bring Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Mental health Alcohol & Other Drugs experience Demonstrated experience in adult mental health, intake, and community‑based care. Strong clinical assessment, risk management, and decision‑making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A commitment to trauma‑informed, person‑centred care. Desirable experience Knowledge of CHIMA database Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system Previous experience working in Australia, preferrably with QLD Health Knowledge of Mental Health Act 2016 Mandatory Competencies BLS competency Manual and patient handling Infection control Aggressive behaviour management Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and / or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012 Why BluePrint Nursing?
