Learning Support Teachers - Junior School and Senior School (NESA Accredited) Trinity Anglican College is a co-educational school with, from January 2026, 1500 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. THE ROLES We are excited to offer two newly created Learning Support Teacher positions, one in the Junior School and one in the Senior School, to further strengthen student support across the College. The Learning Support Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of our youngest learners. Working within the Junior School, this role focuses on delivering targeted support to students with additional needs in inclusive classroom settings. Learning Support Teachers collaborate with classroom teachers to provide differentiated instruction, develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and ensure students are appropriately included in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). A strong understanding of early years development and the ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate interventions is essential. Senior School (7-12) The Learning Support Teacher is a key member of the senior school team, working across Years 7–12 to support students with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on fostering inclusive education practices, enabling students to access the curriculum, achieve academic success, and develop confidence and independence. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external professionals to implement effective support strategies and uphold the College's commitment to holistic education. QUALIFICATIONS Current NESA Accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications Current NSW Working with Children's Check Current First Aid certificate SKILLS Ability to deliver targeted support for students with diverse learning needs in inclusive classroom settings Strong knowledge of personalised learning plans and the NCCD framework Capacity to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, stage leaders, and specialist staff Skilled in using data and observation to monitor student progress and adjust interventions Proficiency in using assistive technologies and digital tools to enhance access and engagement Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead ILP meetings with families and maintain clear, respectful dialogue Strong organisational and administrative skills to manage documentation, support plans, and scheduling Commitment to fostering student wellbeing and inclusion in alignment with the College's faith-based values APPLY NOW Apply now via Seek Your application must include a cover letter stating which position you are applying for (Junior School or Senior School), along with your CV, to be considered for the role.
