Overview Join to apply for the Underground HD Fitter role at Westfill Pty Ltd. We're seeking experienced and qualified Underground HD Fitters to join our team. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs Work on a variety of underground mining equipment, including: Sandvik trucks, drills, and loaders; CAT graders; Volvo integrated tool carriers Scope jobs and accurately estimate time, materials, and resource requirements Collaborate closely with shift supervisors, mechanics, and other underground personnel Benefits Choice of Casual at $****** or Fulltime at $85 + super on all hours worked $1,000 employee referral bonuses Fortnightly pay A supportive and inclusive team environment Job security with long‑term, ongoing projects Qualifications A Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification recognised in Australia (essential) At least 2 years' post‑trade experience in underground mining or related industries A manual driver's licence (essential) and relevant RPLs to operate underground vehicles Solid knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures, and safe handling of explosives Strong diagnostic, fault‑finding, and maintenance skills Capability to work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding conditions Must be able to pass a pre‑employment medical to include a drug and alcohol screening National Police Clearance within the last 6 months required for this role If you're a qualified and motivated HD Fitter looking for a stable, high‑paying FIFO opportunity with a respected and growing company —don't miss out #J-18808-Ljbffr
