Devops Engineer

Join to apply for the Devops Engineer role at NiCE . We’re on a journey to transition many of our traditional on‑premise solutions to SaaS offerings on AWS. The DevOps team will play a key role in that transition, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to join us. How will you make an impact? Build and manage strategic relationships across the NiCE Actimize partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth, innovation, and market expansion. Automate deployment and management of AWS infrastructure (Software Defined Data Center) using Terraform, Python, and Jinja. Architect AWS infrastructure to fit our solutions. Monitor and secure AWS infrastructure using tools such as Nagios, CloudWatch, and Prometheus. Enhance configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, and PowerShell to facilitate guest management. Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and process establishment. Collaborate closely with application support, infrastructure, and product development teams to set priorities. Possible travel to other global locations. Infrastructure & Cloud Management Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure. Use Terraform or CloudFormation to build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, repeatable provisioning. Manage configuration, networking, and access policies across cloud environments. Automation & CI/CD Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions & Workflows. Automate build, testing, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve release velocity. Implement automated rollback, approval gates, and environment promotion workflows. Have you got what it takes? Programming Experience: 5-7 years of development experience in Python and/or PowerShell. Other languages such as Java or C# will be considered. AWS Experience: AWS certification at associate or professional level and 3-5 years of hands‑on experience using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS APIs. Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon ECS a plus. Solid understanding of AWS networking and networking concepts; AWS Network Certification a plus. Experience with Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Nagios, or Prometheus strongly desired. Education Level: B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT preferred (or equivalent engineering field). And also desirable Excellent coding skills in Python, PowerShell, or another major language. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly. Ability to work effectively with distributed teams. Ability to work in a high‑pressure, highly flexible environment with both short‑ and long‑term objectives. Passionate about technology and solving IT operations‑focused problems. Detail oriented, task driven, excellent communication skills. Customer service focus is key.
