Due to our continued and expected growth, we seek suitably licensed MC drivers to join our Matic Transport Australia team based in Adelaide for the following positions:
Local MC DriversMatic Transport Australia are seeking suitably experienced and professional Linehaul and Local MC Drivers operating from our Adelaide Operations with the ability to work across a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Roster will be based on rotations of 6 days on & 1 day off followed by 4 days on & 2 days off.
The successful candidates will be required to undertake remote work to outback South Australia and Northern Territory locations with the capability to drive across varying road conditions.
This will include regular trips to Prominant Hill and Carrapateena.
These will be full-time positions, averaging 50+ hours per week (includes competitive weekend rates).
Pneumatic Tanker experience is not essential as full in-house training will be provided by our experienced team.
Basic mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded.
To be considered for this role, the successful applicants will be able to demonstrate: Hold an MC LicencePneumatic Tanker experience highly regarded but not essential.Fatigue ManagementWorking Safely at HeightsSolid driving recordAbility to work unassistedThe capacity to work flexible times and work away from homeExceptional work ethic, reliability, and punctualityKnowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislationAbility to understand and adhere to OH & S ProceduresNational Police ClearanceComplete Pre-Employment medical assessmentA positive can-do attitude and neat appearance are always highly regarded when assessing applicants.
