Overview Beam is looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to help design, build, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for our B2B and software partner digital product suite. The role is permanent and based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. Responsibilities Lead and coach a team of quality engineers to deliver effective testing solutions. Set quality assurance standards and advocate modern tools and techniques. Design and maintain test automation frameworks across multiple products. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into testing strategies. Enhance testing across data pipelines, APIs, mobile, cloud, and web UI. Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement in testing practices. Qualifications Led test automation and system testing in CI/CD environments and built scalable frameworks. Hands‑on with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, UIPath, and languages like C#, Java, and SQL. Strategic thinker who translates complex requirements into smart testing approaches. Collaborative with strong communication skills and a knack for engaging stakeholders. Detail‑oriented and creative, always looking for ways to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency. Experience across data pipelines, APIs, mobile, cloud, and web UI, applying the right methodology for each. Bonus: financial services, payroll, or employer software experience and ISTQB certification.
