This is a Permanent Full time position based at Goombungee. Work a 9 day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off. About the position The Gardener position is responsible for undertaking skilled gardening duties to ensure delivery of the desired standards of service in the quality maintenance of Council parks and gardens. Demonstrated basic numeracy, written and oral communication skills. Sound customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate and timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively, safely, and ethically under general supervision in a team environment. Ability to perform physical skilled gardening tasks and to complete work neatly and efficiently in terms of expected standards of service.
