About Fiona Stanley Hospital and FSH Respiratory Service Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783‑bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‑built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. FSH Respiratory Service Provides Comprehensive Range Of Inpatient And Outpatient Services For The Including Assessment, Diagnosis, Medical Treatment And Management Of Conditions Affecting The Thorax And Respiratory System. It Incorporates The Following Services General Respiratory Medicine – incorporating Bronchiectasis, Complex airways diseases, Severe Airways Disease Clinic and Rapid access clinics Lung cancer and Interventional pulmonology – includes lung nodule assessment, lung cancer diagnostics, pleural diseases, interventional pulmonology clinics Advanced Lung Disease Unit (ALDU) – incorporating Lung Transplantation Service, Pulmonary Hypertension Service and Interstitial Lung Disease Service Sleep Medicine Service – includes sleep disorder testing services, general sleep disorders, neuromuscular and therapy clinics Pulmonary Physiology Testing Service – Includes lung function testing, bronchial challenge tests, FeNO and CPET testing. About The Role FSH is seeking experienced Consultant Respiratory Physicians to provide comprehensive patient‑centred, safe and timely clinical care, education and supervision of junior medical doctors and active participation in quality improvement and research. They also work collaboratively with the Head of Specialty and fellow consultants to strategically manage patient demand, ensuring the team achieves national performance outcomes and adheres to the National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards.
