We are looking for a flexible Physiotherapist who is available to cover shifts across the 7-day roster period, primarily on weekends Saturday/Sunday. There may be opportunity to pick up additional shifts providing cover for planned leave periods Apply increasing clinical judgement to more complex cases under clinical practice supervision Provide delegation, supervision, and support to less experienced health practitioners, allied health assistants, students, support staff and volunteers– as appropriate. Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within professional and multidisciplinary teams– as required. Identify, develop and participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve clinical services and patient outcomes Actively participate in professional and multidisciplinary teams, and liaise with patients, their families/carers and external agencies Participate in continuing professional development activities to further develop clinical practice and expertise About you You will be a AHPRA registered Physiotherapist as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council. You will also meet the below criteria: Experience working in an acute hospital setting and across rehabilitation services A demonstrated ability to provide exceptional Physiotherapy clinical services commensurate with level, and to manage a varying caseload day to day, including provision of an appropriate clinical handover as required Demonstrated attributes of solutions focus, flexibility and resilience Demonstrated clinical practice and application of clinical judgement in the provision of high quality, evidence based, patient centred care Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with professional and multi-disciplinary teams, patients and carers to achieve optimal outcomes Be able to work independently and within a team and prioritise workloads appropriately.(JM2) Mater is Queensland’s largest not‑for‑profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
