Job title: FT Physiotherapist - Community/Clinic - Cairns, QLD Hours: 38 Hours a week Salary: Competitive salary (based on experience) + CPD + Employee Benefits Location: Mareeba, QLD About the Role: Our client is currently seeking an highly experienced and dynamic Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join their team. You will be woking with a diverse caseload – sporting, general musculoskeletal with age ranges from children to elderly people. Minimum age around 6-7 years old, but rarely many clients under 12 years old - 5% paeds 95% adult. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for athletes and patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Implement advanced physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, and sports-specific rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate closely with sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Actively participate in professional development activities, including continuing education and training, to stay abreast of current best practices in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
