Personal Care Worker – Riverside Aged Care Home – Launceston Join the team at Calvary Health Care. Overview The Personal Care Worker supports the Home Manager and peers in delivering high quality resident care within the home, ensuring residents' personal needs are met and supporting their independence. Responsibilities Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence. Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of residents through assessment and observation. Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident’s plan of care. Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs while encouraging their independence. Document and report care interventions and progress notes accurately. Plan and organise work and tasks delegated by the Home Manager/Registered Nurse, operating under their supervision. Follow the resident care plan. Qualifications Certificate III in Aged Care or relevant qualification. A passion for working in aged care and a sound understanding of the sector. Previous experience in a similar role in aged care is preferable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‑based organisation.
