You will contribute to the cleanliness and effectiveness of a dental surgery environment and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence‑ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on‑base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on‑site medical care. About Robertson Health Centre Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of Darwin. It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 members, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 22‑bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‑call shifts). Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification. Demonstrated compliance with relevant standards and procedures. Minimum of 2 years’ (full time equivalent) chair‑side experience within the last 5 years. Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role. You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on‑base and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
