About Sutherland Shire Council Leisure Centres Our Leisure Centres are dedicated to enriching the lives of residents by offering accessible programs and services that support lifelong health and wellbeing. Responsibilities Providing friendly and professional customer service Operating the kiosk in line with food safety standards Setting up and packing down courts and equipment Managing bookings and point‑of‑sale transactions Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility Assisting with minor first aid and incident response Supporting promotional activities and programmes Upholding child safety standards and Council policies Essential Qualifications Current First Aid and CPR Certificate NSW Working with Children Check Food Safety Handling Certificate Desirable Qualifications Barista training and food handling experience Apply Apply by responding to our online application questions and submitting your resume outlining why you are a great fit. Get your application in by 11:59 pm Friday 12th December 2025. Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks of closing. Package: Casual pay rate: $37 ph plus 12 % super. Hours of work: Casual shifts offered as required in line with operational need. Applicants must be willing to work across a 7‑day a week spread (Monday‑Sunday) with availability across the spread of hours that the facility is open (8.30 am - 10.00 pm) to support the operational requirements of the Centre. Suitable candidates are subject to pre‑employment screening which includes Reference Checks, Work Rights Verification, Identity check and will also include a Criminal History, Qualification and Working with Children Check.
