About the Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Senior Water Engineer with relevant experience in water management, to join our growing Perth team with the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects. To learn more about us, visit Responsibilities Play a pivotal role in assisting the team in Perth and our colleagues across Australia and New Zealand; Deliver the design of mine dewatering systems, borefield designs, and water transfer systems; Deliver the design of minor works for the Water Corporation; Deliver hydrological studies and flood assessments throughout Australia primarily in the resource sector (with potential for input into the urban development and infrastructure sectors); Deliver the design of storage solutions, flood diversions, bunds, pipe crossings, culverts and other management structures. This is a Perth based position and may require occasional travel to field operations, as required. Requirements A relevant tertiary qualification (eg. Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering) Experience in mine dewatering systems, borefield designs, water transfer systems A technical understanding of civil designs of bunds, bulk earthworks, diversion channels, road and flood way designs The ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team across diverse projects and tasks The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy to prioritise and deliver tasks Strong written and oral communication skills Advanced report writing skills Competent in Microsoft Office packages Skills in relevant modelling software (WaterGEMS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, RORB, XP-RAFTS, etc) GIS experience desirable (ideally QGIS) Competitive remuneration which will be commensurate with skills and experience, including employee incentive scheme Flexible working conditions including work from home arrangements Paid parental leave Positive and supportive work environment Opportunities for on-the-job and formal professional development The position is full time; however, part time capacity will be considered for the right candidate.
