Kitchen Attendant | Benowa Tavern | Dream big with us The Benowa Tavern is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Attendant to join our team. This role is focused on supporting our busy kitchen during peak dinner services. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dishwashing, basic food prep and ensuring a thorough kitchen pack‑down and cleanup. The core roster for this position is Wednesday to Saturday, 5pm – 9pm, but we are looking for someone with the flexibility to pick up Sunday shifts and assist during big events and public holidays too. If you are a team player who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and help keep a fast‑paced kitchen running smoothly, we want to hear from you Apply Now A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant: Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance Qualifications About you: You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people Inherent requirements: This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
