Basic Physician Trainees | Unaccredited Medical Registrars Basic Physician Trainees and Unaccredited Medical Registrars February or August 2026 intake Tertiary teaching public hospital Level 3 Accredited RACP training site with a supportive environment AHP Medical are currently working with a Level 3 RACP Accredited Hospital in Darwin, Northern Territory, to recruit Basic Physician Trainees and Unaccredited Medical Registrars, for a February or August 2026 commencement. The Positions The Basic Physician Trainee positions are accredited by the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) for PREP training. The positions are suitable for applicants in their third postgraduate year, or above, and who have previous experience or training in a hospital-based internal medicine training program. These training programs have maintained an excellent record of consistent success in written and clinical FRACP examinations. Unaccredited Medical Registrar positions are also available. Selection Criteria Current general registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Competent Authority Pathway.
