About Us Central Queensland Health delivers public health care across regional, rural and remote communities in hospitals, multipurpose health services, aged care services and community clinics. Services include but are not limited to oral health care, specialist care, outpatient clinics, mental health services, sexual health services and general surgery. About the Role The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and wider Central Queensland Health program team to support the clinical unit in provision of safe, quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for Acute Care. Nurse Practitioners have 20% of their rostered hours allocated away from direct clinical duties to work to their full scope of practice. Qualifications Registration and Nurse Practitioner endorsement with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possession of a current practising certificate. Postgraduate Masters in Nurse Practitioner or equivalent.
