Yard Assistant - Timber and building materials Job Type: Permanent position | Casual position Job Description Flexiforce are seeking reliable and experienced Yards people with Carpentry background and a current LF Forklift Licence to join a leading retailer in the timber and building materials industry, based in Moss Vale. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the smooth and efficient operation of the yard, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support. Key Responsibilities Receiving, unloading, and storing timber and building materials in the yard Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard Providing exceptional customer service and answering product-related inquiries Operating forklifts and other machinery as required Adhering to all health and safety procedures Supporting the overall operations of the timber yard What we're looking for Experience in a similar retail or trade-based role (timber/building materials preferred) Carpentry background - or similar industry experience Strong customer service and communication skills Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials LF Forklift Licence Attention to detail and commitment to safety Team-oriented and dependable To be shortlisted for the role, you will need to be dependable, as well as possess a LF (Forklift) licence.
