General and Project Costing Accountant Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia • Commitment: Full / Part-Time EnviroGold Global (CSE: NVRO | OTCQB: ESGLF) is a clean‑technology company unlocking critical and precious metals from mine tailings and waste streams. We are seeking a General Accountant with Project Cost Accounting experience in the mining, manufacturing or mineral processing industry, to support our Australian operations and international project delivery. As a member of a small organisation, there will be opportunities to get involved in different areas of operations. This role suits a mid‑senior accounting professional with more than 5 year’s experience, who enjoys working across financial systems, project cost analysis and management reporting in a dynamic, growing mineral process technology company. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and analyse project costing models for laboratory, pilot and full‑scale deployment programs. Track budget performance and cost variance across projects in Australia, North America and emerging global hubs. Partner with operational leads and the COO to ensure accurate cost forecasting, budget control and financial discipline. Prepare and review monthly management reports detailing project expenditure, capitalisation, and margin analysis. Support preparation of budgeting and forecasting cycles, including scenario and sensitivity analysis. Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations in QuickBooks (or similar system), including payables, receivables and journals. Liaise with external accountants, auditors and corporate advisors to ensure compliance and alignment with Group financial policies. Assist with grant reporting, R&D tax data collection, and audit‑ready cost attribution for technology development programs. Identify and implement process improvements in project cost control, data integrity and reporting efficiency. Qualifications & Experience 5–10 years’ experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to project‑based or management accounting within engineering, mining, or technology development. Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel/Sheets skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms. Experience working in lean, growth‑stage organisations or cross‑border environments advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into practical insights for non‑financial stakeholders. Self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic and hands‑on accounting tasks.
