Base pay range A$130, / yr - A$150, / yr THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT ROLE - JANUARY START DATE The Role Conduct quantitative and qualitative JobAdder user research to validate proposed product features with existing or potential users. Collaborate with product managers to collate research findings and incorporate those findings into ensuing work. Analyse user feedback to identify features or user experience improvements that can enhance the JobAdder product. Create user-flows and wireframes to map out and propose product design features. Create user-interface designs of the proposed product features using Figma. Collaborate with other Designers, Product Managers and the Development team to gain and incorporate feedback. Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the Design Library and Design system. Conduct in-house user testing across different teams within the business to validate proposed product features and ensure appropriate business needs are covered. Create and conduct user testing for product prototypes to validate the user experience of proposed new features with existing users. Write documentation and usage guidelines that teach designers and engineers how to use components and patterns across design and code. Work closely within assigned cross‑functional crews in an agile environment. Provide detailed user experience and interface feedback on features in development to help developers and product managers deliver features at a high level of quality on time. You: 7+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team. An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in research, interaction, visual design and prototyping. Advanced skills in problem-solving and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile. Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to thousands of users. Experience in planning and executing user research studies, whether more traditional user testing or more experimental concept testing. Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features. Experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
