About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac. Safety, Quality and Improvement Barwon Health's Safety and Quality unit provides support to the organisation in the areas of accreditation, incident and complaint management, clinical audit, risk management, policy and procedure management, medico-legal services and Consumer Centred Care. About the role The Improvement Project Coordinator will lead the VMIA-funded Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) Delirium Prevention Project at Barwon Health. This role focuses on planning and delivering a pilot designed to reduce delirium in older patients through evidence-based strategies. Key responsibilities include coordinating project activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, supporting quality improvement and research processes, and conducting audits to evaluate program impact.
